A Sample Case Study…

  • The customer needed a better way to mount a tracking sensor on assembly tools.
  • We worked with the customer through an iterative process resulting in a design that affixes the sensor on the tool, protects the tool, and prevents product marring and mutilation.
  • The final product was a cover with an integrated RFID tag mount that also incorporates tool protection and minimizes the possibility of product marring.
  • Additionally, the design included customized indicator visualization, key interface accessibility, and a ventilation opening.
