Collaborative Problem Solving = The Right Solution, And More

A Sample Case Study…

  • The customer needed a better way to mount a tracking sensor on assembly tools.
  • We worked with the customer through an iterative process resulting in a design that affixes the sensor on the tool, protects the tool, and prevents product marring and mutilation.
  • The final product was a cover with an integrated RFID tag mount that also incorporates tool protection and minimizes the possibility of product marring.
  • Additionally, the design included customized indicator visualization, key interface accessibility, and a ventilation opening.

This is an example of how Extremiti3D stands out as a different solution for tool protection and assembly tool integration. Many traditional tool covers are injection molded using expensive molds which cannot be easily or quickly modified.
