Problem
Assembly line required secure, durable nesting fixtures to assemble multiple lawnmower models.
Solution
Extremiti3D designed a single nest system to accommodate all models using color-coded inserts. The solution allows the customer to reconfigure the assembly line in a fraction of the time required by other options by swapping out the inserts. And, the nest is made from non-marring material which dramatically reduces scrap/rework rates due to in process mutilation compared to metal fixtures.
